LIGHT UP THE HILLS PRESENTED BY THE WEST SHORE ARTS COUNCIL
A family-friendly outdoor festival of lights – Saturday, September 24th from 7:30-10:00pm in Westhills, Langford.
On September 24th, the experience begins at Belmont High School and convenes at the Westhills YMCA/YWCA parking lot with several installations and performances along the way. Held after dark, countless illuminated lanterns will create a spectacular glowing effect throughout the community. This community-focused event aims to showcase the creativity of local artists, musicians, and performers.
The West Shore Arts Council is seeking:
-Artists to lead the instruction of lantern-making at one of three workshops in September.
-Artists to submit proposals for the design of illuminated artworks as event showpieces.
-Volunteers to help make this a safe and fun event!

Eagle Ridge Centre (1089 Langford Pkwy) – September 17th from 3-6pm
Langford Legion (761 Station Ave) – September 20th from 4-6pm
Coast Collective (318 Wale Rd) – September 21st from 4-6pm
